Seeing as I'm the only one with poems here, I might as well just keep posting them.
Your Own Two Feet
We are all different.
It is would be hard to see her, even if she was tall.
She is always on the sidelines, watching others,
Waiting for her turn,
For her moment to shine.
There is never a moment just for you.
Though it is hard to see,
And it is hard to hear,
You must make your own moment.
You must stand up on your own,
Without others to support you.
You must stand tall, and proud
Of who you are, even if you are flawed.
You must show others that you can shine, even if you are afraid that you will shine dimmer than them.
Because we are all different.
And we all can shine just as brightly.
This one is a "just a thought" poem. I don't intend to do anything with it. |
